Focus groups of Project

The focus groups (FG) within the ESTO project are the groups of project partners and external experts dealing with the specific aspects of traditional orchards. The focus groups are temporarily established groups operating in a set structure and with close cooperative links. There are three focus groups established within the ESTO Project:

FG 1. Pomology
FG 2. Care and Management
FG 3. Marketing and Processing

The objectives of the focus groups will be as follows:

1. To represent the specific needs of the individual sectors based on ex-ante analysis

2. To elaborate and evaluate the expert text and the curriculum

3. To implement the curriculum in the various sectors.

In order to secure efficient communication with the group and the project manager, one coordinator will chair each focus group. There will be focus group meetings over the entire course of the project and regular communication between project partners and experts.
